Q:will this work in my car?
A: our ecus will be plug and play with All 01-05 golf, Jetta, and beetle 1.8ts as well as tts for the same range. Some 01 and all 2000 year cars will have a factory narrowband front o2 sensor and require a wideband conversion harness and new front o2 sensor. If you have a 00 or 01 and you are unsure what engine code it has, please contact us to help you figure it out. All aww, awv, aph, and awp engine code cars are compatible
Q: how long does shipping take?
A: we ship all us orders with usps priority mail. Shipping itself takes 2-3 days. Our handling time with them is 1-3 days. We try to ship same or next day with all orders as we can.
Q:what spark plugs should I run?
A: ngk bkr7e gapped at .028
Q: why does my boost fluctuate at max boost with a new ko4?
A: a lot of the new Ko4 turbos need the wastegate actuator adjusted to put more pressure on the wastegate flap.
Q: why doesn’t 2 step work?
A: replace the blue switch in the clutch pedal
Q: why does my car only rev to 4500 rpms at full throttle?
A: replace the blue clutch switch, if when checking you realize that there is not one due to the car being a factory auto, that the person doing the swap did not install a clutch switch in. Your options are to send us the ecu for a file with no 2 step, or contact us for a 2 step wiring kit like we offer for auto cars. They are a simple 2 wire installation.
